Specialists in Teacher Training Expert supplementary training for creative and thoughtful musicians, music and instrumental teachers. Broaden your teaching portfolio to encompass our exciting, rigorous approach to music teaching. You will develop a solid foundation of skills in Early Years and/or instrumental teaching leading to your choice of specialism (Early Years, musicianship, individual instrumental and group work and/or infant and junior classroom teaching), all based on the methods of Kodaly and incorporating elements of Eurhythmics. You will receive expert training, ongoing supervision, monitoring and assessment. As a fully licensed DaCapo teacher, you will join a network of supportive and inspiring colleagues. DaCapo teachers and staff Every DaCapo teacher has a music degree or equivalent, experience as a professional musician and undertakes expert supervised training in order to complete their DaCapo Licence All teachers are police-checked. There is a strong staff support network and an expectation of continuous development for everyone from Directors to new trainees. All teaching staff take part in on-going training regardless of their level or years of experience. Training ensures consistency of delivery, uniformly high quality teaching and the sharing of ideas, whilst supporting each teacher’s individuality and personal creative approach.
