A day of observation, participation and discussion. Come and see the teaching in action – see how it feels to be part of an inclusive and pressure free musical environment – either as an instrumentalist or in a classroom situation.
Saturdays and Wednesdays in term time by appointment – please call to book.

DaCapo in a Nutshell
This is a one day stand alone musicianship course for teachers and musicians who are interested in learning more about the DaCapo methodology and gaining basic skills in Kodaly, Eurhythmics and DaCapo’s educational philosophy.
These courses are run for trained musicians and for non-musicians (such as class teachers, nursery workers etc.)

The Complete Musician
In Schools/ Musicianship training designed for each Key Stage
The integrated music programme is outlined and strategies, planning repertoire and appropriate activities are all covered.

The Complete Instrumentalist
A one-day course for instrumental teachers covering the full scope of instrumental teaching with the DaCapo approach from the very first lesson through to advanced pupils.

Reading for Rock Stars
Reading for Rock Stars is a course for those who are already skilled in Kodaly and would like to teach older children (who have become proficient at playing their instrument but not at reading) how to read music and connect their playing skills to the reading.

The Introduction to the DaCapo Approach course takes place at Wessex Gardens Primary School, London, NW11.
All other courses take place in High Barnet (5 minutes from Northern Line tube Station)
