Having recorded over 100 productions of various musical genres in his studios in Buenos Aires and London, Ignacio is skilled in all stages of production, from recording to mastering and has strong abilities in arrangement and composition. Some of his work in London is linked with Lyribox, recording tracks for the Opera company. In 2013, Ignacio completed a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting. This has allowed him to specialise in the live and studio recording of classical music ensembles and soloists and he dedicates himself to working closely with each artist to find their natural sound.
Currently, Ignacio is working in the development of different music festivals such as Ketevan World Sacred Music Festival (India), Babylon Festival (Iraq) and intensely with a number of performers of classical and Early Music in Europe and South America. Some of his recent collaborations engage the Seville Chamber Choir (Spain), Ensemble Molière (England), Les Antics (Switzerland), performers from the Royal College and the Guildhall School, producing a number of albums at the legendary Abbey Road Studios and he has worked for the last five years in the Latin American Baroque Festival of Buenos Aires, recording artists such as Gabriel Garrido, Cristina García Banegas and Manfredo Kraemer.
Ignacio is also an experienced performer and guitar mentor. He teaches at DaCapo Music Foundation where he has pupils under the Kodaly method. As a guitarist, Ignacio began his studies with Marcela Sfriso in his hometown of Buenos Aires. He now specialises in Spanish flamenco guitar, touring internationally with various world music artists and continues his studies in Spain with maestros Gerardo Nuñez, Juan Manuel Cañizares, Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Manolo Sanlúcar. His most recent collaborations include performances with the Oud Master Ahmed Mukhtar and flamenco guitarist Eduardo Niebla.
