Preparing for the New Academic Year.

In addition to our initial and ongoing training and our 8.45 am Saturday ‘breakfast’, we hold an annual convention for all of our teachers at the beginning of September every year.

They spend Friday evening and all day Saturday taking part in a wide range of sessions and discussions that help their teaching. The Friday evening is always an advanced Kodaly session to challenge and stimulate the team and on Saturday we focussed on ‘Looking after the Individual’.

The day included sessions on movement, playfulness, getting it wrong, communication and performance. You can see photos below
