Emilia Agajew
Teacher. Harp
Emilia is a masters harp student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under prof. Imogen Barford. She has studied the harp for sixteen years and has performed at the Barbican Centre, Milton Court, Polish National Opera, Lodz Grand Theatre and the Grange and Garsington Opera. Most recently she performed at the 14th World Harp Congress in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has also been awarded the First Prize and The Composer’s Award at the I National Harp Competition of Karol Groll in Warsaw, and a Prize at the St. James Chamber Competition as part of a harp and flute and harp and violin duos.
As an orchestral player, she has performed as the principal harp in the Sixteen Orchestra, Guildhall Symphony Orchestra, Guildhall Chamber Orchestra,the University of London Symphony Orchestra and the UBU ensemble’s “Total Immersion” concert streamed on BBC Radio 3.
