Hong Ding

I’ve been working in Shell since 2008, my experience comes from largely Finance and Pricing, across different parts of the value chain including Oil Gas Exploration, Industry Lubricants, Mobility Retail and Marine. My experience includes strategic and operational planning, budgeting, investment decision making, business performance management, B2B and B2C pricing. I have a particular interest in value creation, and hope this can support DaCapo on its growth aspiration. I graduated with an Economics and Politics degree from Warwick, a post graduate degree in Finance and Management from Loughborough, I’m CIMA qualified.

My journey with DaCapo started when my daughter enrolled in 2021. It has been eye opening to see its holistic and integral approach to deepen students’ learning and understanding of music – combining the What, the How and the Why – contrasting to the conventional approach focusing largely on the What. I would love to support the Foundation to grow and see its fabulous teaching philosophy reach far and wide.
