

Rowan Dymott
Teacher. Violin and Woodwind
Rowan is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at
the Royal College of Music in London under the guidance
of Ani Schnarch. She graduated with First Class Honours
from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2025,
where she studied with Jacqueline Ross.
She has performed under conductors such as Gustavo
Dudamel and Ludovic Morlot. In 2025 she was accepted
onto the Royal Opera House Overture Scheme, being
mentored by members of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera
House.
She is also a prizewinner of the St James String Prize, the
Forum Musikae Summer Competition, and was selected for
the Hans Keller Forum 2025/26 with the Florens Quartet.
Alongside her performing career, Rowan is active in music
education. She works as an assistant tutor and creative
mentor for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain,
leads workshops for young musicians, and is delighted to
be joining the team at Da Capo!
