Yvain Caballero

Teacher. Piano

Yvain Calvo is a Spanish pianist with an active career both as a soloist and chamber musician. Yvain graduated with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2021 under the tutelage of Peter Bithell and Caroline Palmer. Established in London, Yvain’s achievements include appearances at the Oxford Philharmonic Friend’s Evening, recitals at Milton Court Concert Hall, as well as recording at Abbey Road Studios. As a member of Duo Fabulae, in 2022 he was awarded 1st and 2nd prize in the accompanist and chamber music categories respectively at the SCO competition, as well as became a recipient of the Guildhall School Futures Fund to support an interdisciplinary project with a filmmaker on the British composer Frank Bridge.

As piano teacher at DaCapo he teaches one-to-one and ensemble lessons. During the week, he also teaches one-to-one piano lessons for DaCapo at the Wren Academy.'
